- Climbing a gas balloon
During the nineteenth century, the gas balloon ascents were very popular throughout France and brought together many curious crowds during fairs and public festivals.
- Spad VII "Old Charles"
Major allied fighter squadrons in 1917, the Spad VII won many aerial victories. Called "Old Charles", the one kept in the Museum of Air and Space is one of the planes of the French ace Guynemer (1894 - 1917).
- Breguet 19 TF "Question Mark"
In early September 1930, three years after the feat of Charles Lindbergh on the East-West route, the French Dieudonne Costes and Maurice Bellonte connect Le Bourget in New York. On board their Breguet 19 TF, they cross the 6000 km journey in 37 h 12 min.
Franco-British transport aircraft, Concorde took 100 passengers in great comfort at Mach 2, or more than twice the speed of conventional aircraft online. Designed for transatlantic routes, it put Paris, or London, at 3 and half hours from New York.
- Ariane rocket
Ariane launchers form the main family of European launchers. Since 1979, five types of Ariane rocket took off from the European spat ial port of Kourou in French Guiana. On the tarmac of the Air and Space Museum, Ariane 1 and Ariane 5 are alongside a Boeing 747 Air France.
