Links With China - Waterfowl
Western Europe and most of China present two ends of the same eco-zone, the Palearctic. Despite the huge distance between China and the tiny island of Jersey which is situated between mainland Great Britain and France, many species of waterfowl are common to both regions. Six stamps drawn by stamp artist Martin Mörck and painted by Wang Huming in Beijing feature some of the species of waterfowl that delight onlookers with their various forms and colours.
The first issue in this series: Links with China – Garden Flowers was issued on 22 September 2015.
