Legendary Formula 1 Drivers- Ronnie Peterson
Born in 1944, Sweden's Ronnie Peterson is considered to be one of the most talented drivers of his generation. His inimitable and spectacular style won him legions of fans. Between 1970 and 1978, he competed in 123 Grands Prix, winning ten, including the Monaco GP in 1974 at the wheel of a Lotus 72E. After suffering serious injuries in a crash at the start of the 1978 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Peterson died from an embolism the following day.
