Seasons – Autumn SI

Seasons – Autumn

Autumn, a particularly pretty season, is the perfect time to discover Jersey’s natural beauty, fascinating wildlife and delicious local produce. As summer draws to a close, the last of the sun-worshipping tourists head home and the Island’s many landscapes become adorned with rich shades of gold and russet.

This stamp issue is the second instalment of a four-part series. Whilst the first part centred around coastal photographs taken in Jersey in the summer, these eight autumnal stamps have moved more inland and show:

-        A country lane near St John’s village

-        The sun through the clouds at Corbière

-        Autumn in the sand dunes at St Ouen’s Bay

-        A stormy day at Noirmont Point

-        High tide shore break at St Catherine’s Bay

-        Sunset at the Radio Tower at St Brelade

-        A woodland path through St Peter’s Valley

-        Kempt Tower through the beach grass
